Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum research roadmaps aligned with 2026 commercialization goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and simulation
- Partner with hardware teams to bridge theoretical models with practical quantum implementations
- Secure and manage multi-million dollar research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Present findings to C-suite executives and industry consortiums
- Drive quantum security standards for next-gen enterprise applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years research experience
- Proven track record publishing in Nature/Science journals or equivalent quantum computing milestones
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience securing government or corporate research funding exceeding $5M
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business strategy
