Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 'State of 2026' technology trend reports for C-suite executives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and mitigate emerging technology risks
- Design innovation frameworks for implementing breakthrough technologies by 2026
- Partner with venture capital arms to scout and evaluate next-gen startups
- Represent the company at global futurist forums (Davos, Singularity Summit, etc.)
- Create patent-pending methodologies for predicting technological convergence points
- Mentor a team of junior futurists using our proprietary foresight methodology
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts with 85%+ accuracy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field
- Fluency in at least 2 future modeling methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Portfolio of successful technology commercialization projects
- Top-secret clearance or willingness to obtain for government collaboration
