Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization and simulation challenges
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems with >1000 qubit stability
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to hybridize classical-quantum workflows
- Secure $2M+ in R&D funding through NIH/NASA/NSF grants
- Publish top-tier papers in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD-level researchers in quantum information theory
- Develop quantum security protocols for blockchain 3.0 applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum hardware (IBM, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record of publishing in quantum computing
- Strong background in topological quantum error correction
- Experience securing federal research grants
- Knowledge of quantum machine learning frameworks
