Responsibilities

- Drive quantum error correction advancements for scalable fault-tolerant systems
- Publish peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Manage $5M+ research budget with strategic vendor partnerships
- Mentor PhD researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Develop quantum security protocols for next-gen blockchain infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, PRL)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of commercializing quantum prototypes
- Experience leading teams of 10+ quantum researchers
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, ion trap)
- Strong background in machine learning and classical optimization
