Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum algorithms for practical industry applications
- Develop error-corrected quantum circuits using superconducting qubits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical systems
- Lead research in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Document and publish breakthrough findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing principles
- Participate in patent development for proprietary quantum technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development or qubit manipulation
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and information theory
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Published research in quantum computing or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into scalable solutions
