Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems targeting 2026 commercial applications
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization and cryptography challenges
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processors with >1000 qubit stability
- Collaborate with materials scientists to engineer novel quantum substrates
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and government partners
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum information theory
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (superconducting/ion trap)
- Strong track record of translating quantum theory into practical systems
