Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum systems exceeding 10,000 qubits
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Collaborate with NASA, IBM, and academic partners on quantum supremacy projects
- Patent novel quantum algorithms with potential for 2026 deployment
- Mentor quantum engineering talent in our Austin R&D center
- Present quarterly quantum roadmap progress to C-suite executives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum circuit design experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum annealing frameworks
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 100 qubits
- Deep understanding of topological quantum computing models
- Security clearance for DoD quantum projects preferred
