Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems for 2026 deployment
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Design hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Secure $10M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Patent quantum encryption protocols for government contracts
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Computing Summit 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum circuit design
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum assembly languages
- Security clearance or ability to obtain (for NASA collaborations)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Track record of leading $5M+ R&D projects
