Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures using superconducting qubits
- Develop error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Implement hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead quantum network security protocols for post-quantum cryptography
- Architect cryogenic control systems with sub-microsecond latency
- Validate quantum supremacy benchmarks in real-world scenarios
- Mentor cross-disciplinary teams in quantum software integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or superconducting circuit design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance techniques
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and RF control systems
- Strong background in complex system simulation and modeling
- Ability to translate theoretical models into practical engineering solutions
