Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for 2026 deployment targets
- Develop error-correction frameworks achieving >99.9% fidelity thresholds
- Lead quantum-classical hybrid system integration projects
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-world commercial applications
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen cryptography
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum computational principles
- Drive patent development in quantum hardware/software innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals/conferences
- Deep understanding of superconducting, photonic, or trapped-ion qubit technologies
- Experience with quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, etc.)
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical system designs
