Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for 2026 commercial deployment
- Develop fault-tolerant qubit stabilization systems targeting >99.9% coherence
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for practical industry applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define quantum-classical hybrid interfaces
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen cryptography standards
- Mentor junior quantum engineers on emerging quantum error correction techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum computing architectures or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in top quantum computing journals/conferences
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical models into hardware specifications
