Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Partner with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors with 100+ qubit stability
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for real-world deployment
- Create roadmaps for quantum-classical hybrid computing systems
- Drive quantum security frameworks for next-gen encryption standards
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with superconducting and photonic quantum systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proven track record of leading complex R&D initiatives
