Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum circuit architectures for 2026-era applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for enterprise clients
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Optimize quantum algorithms for IBM, Rigetti, and D-Wave hardware platforms
- Conduct research on topological qubits and error correction methodologies
- Author technical whitepapers and patents for novel quantum applications
- Mentor junior researchers on quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Proven experience with quantum error correction protocols (surface, color codes)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of quantum annealing and gate-based models
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization techniques
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Q, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
