Responsibilities
- Design quantum hardware architectures optimized for error correction and scalability
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead integration of quantum algorithms with classical cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with quantum software teams to optimize system performance
- Research next-generation qubit technologies including topological and photonic systems
- Establish quantum security protocols for encrypted communications
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing hardware/software architecture
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant designs
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of superconducting qubits, ion traps, or photonic systems
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
