Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year tech roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum AI, biocomputing, climate modeling)
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI applications
- Identify and prototype solutions to future-proof critical infrastructure
- Partner with academic institutions to shape post-2026 tech curricula
- Present strategic tech forecasts to C-suite and industry boards
- Mentor junior talent in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology R&D with 3+ years in strategic foresight or emerging tech roles
- Expertise in at least two future-critical domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with measurable societal impact
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or conference proceedings
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming framework (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
