Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum operations at scale
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization for enterprise applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum processors with classical HPC systems
- Establish quantum security frameworks for next-gen cryptographic systems
- Drive quantum computing research initiatives in partnership with MIT and Stanford
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish findings in Nature/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC) and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record developing quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and photonic quantum processors
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Published research in quantum computing or equivalent industry breakthroughs
- US citizenship required for government-contracted projects
