Responsibilities
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum processors using superconducting qubits and topological quantum computing
- Design hybrid classical-quantum algorithms for optimization problems in drug discovery and supply chain logistics
- Lead quantum security protocols resistant to 2026-era cryptographic threats
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech on quantum error correction breakthroughs
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge quantum machine learning
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to US Department of Defense and NASA stakeholders
- Develop quantum cloud infrastructure for enterprise clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or quantum supremacy
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and Q# quantum programming frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and dilution refrigerators
- Expertise in Shor's algorithm implementation and Grover's optimization
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain Top Secret clearance) for defense contracts
- Track record of commercializing quantum technologies in enterprise environments
