Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization, cryptography, and simulation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software-hardware interfaces
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Drive quantum security frameworks for 2026-era digital infrastructure
- Mentor quantum engineering talent and establish research roadmaps
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware architecture
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing or quantum information
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Proven track record of leading quantum research projects
