Responsibilities
- Design quantum circuit architectures with >1000 qubit coherence
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control system optimization
- Establish quantum security frameworks for 2026-era applications
- Drive research in topological qubit implementations
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite and government partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning paradigms
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum processors
- Clearance for DoD quantum technology projects preferred
