Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures targeting 10,000+ qubit systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computation
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Establish quantum-safe security frameworks for enterprise clients
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Drive quantum cloud platform integration with AWS/Azure
- Secure $5M+ in quantum computing research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum hardware or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in superconducting qubits or topological quantum computing
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum simulation
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization tools
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Strong background in cryptographic protocols and post-quantum security
