Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures using superconducting and photonic qubits
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for cryptography and materials science
- Architect quantum cloud infrastructure with AWS Braket and Azure Quantum
- Validate quantum supremacy through benchmarking against classical HPC systems
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge research methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Expertise in Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq with 100+ quantum circuits deployed
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 100 physical qubits
- Experience with quantum machine learning frameworks like PennyLane
- Strong background in topological quantum computing or quantum annealing
