Responsibilities
- Develop predictive technology roadmaps for 2026-2030 horizons
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and policy teams
- Conduct horizon scanning across AI, biotech, and clean energy sectors
- Author whitepapers on emerging tech ethics and governance frameworks
- Advocate for responsible innovation in public and private forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build strategic partnerships
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Published work on future technology trends (peer-reviewed or industry journals)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record of influencing tech policy or corporate innovation
- Strong public speaking and stakeholder communication skills
