Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum algorithms for real-world applications in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Lead quantum circuit development on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum theory and physical implementations
- Develop error correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Create quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography standards
- Mentor quantum research scientists and drive innovation through hackathons
- Present quantum breakthroughs at industry conferences and publish in Nature/Science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development with demonstrated publications
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics
