Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 market potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, and climate tech convergence
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype 5+ year innovation pipelines
- Author industry-shaping thought leadership published in top-tier journals
- Manage cross-functional initiatives with $50M+ innovation budgets
- Represent company at global tech summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in futures forecasting
- Published research in Nature, Science, or equivalent impact journals
- Expertise in exponential technology trends (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Track record of scaling tech innovations from concept to market
- Deep network within DARPA, MIT Media Lab, or similar innovation ecosystems
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology impact modeling
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent credential preferred
