Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale deployment
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical computing systems
- Research and implement quantum error correction protocols for 2026-era hardware
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times
- Create performance benchmarks and scalability models for quantum systems
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing principles and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE, QAOA)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Proven ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical engineering solutions
