Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing solutions for enterprise-scale applications in cryptography, material science, and AI optimization
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to solve previously intractable computational problems
- Lead R&D initiatives for quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit connectivity and coherence times
- Create quantum software development frameworks and SDKs for third-party integration
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies and architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum computing experience
- Proven track record in building quantum circuits with >100 qubit coherence
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and algorithm design
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic quantum hardware architectures
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals (e.g., Nature Quantum)
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business strategy and investor presentations
