Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise deployment
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, software engineers, and domain specialists
- Develop error mitigation protocols for near-term quantum processors
- Contribute to open-source quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Present breakthrough research at premier conferences (QCE, APS March Meeting)
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum software systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, OpenQASM)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
