Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for real-world problem-solving
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum hardware
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
