Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic qubits
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Create quantum algorithms that solve previously intractable problems in optimization and simulation
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies and hardware innovations
- Advise C-suite on quantum adoption strategies for Fortune 500 clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum error correction or qubit stability
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of delivering quantum computing prototypes with >100 qubit coherence
- Deep understanding of quantum-classical hybrid computing models
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum state optimization
