Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Develop hybrid classical-quantum computing frameworks leveraging cloud platforms
- Lead quantum hardware integration projects with superconducting and photonic systems
- Create quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols for enterprise applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate quantum solutions into commercial products
- Publish cutting-edge research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and contribute to technical roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum specialization
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware engineering
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation tools
- Demonstrated expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Published research in quantum information science or related fields
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
