Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmap integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and product teams
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop patent strategies for emerging tech domains with IP counsel
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget for 2026 pilot projects
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Stanford Future Labs on joint research initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record launching technologies with 3+ year market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Executive experience scaling tech innovations from concept to market
- Published research or patents in future technology domains
- MBA or advanced degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Physics
- Experience with technology foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
