Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Lead cross-functional teams in integrating quantum accelerators into existing cloud infrastructure
- Research and mitigate quantum security vulnerabilities in post-quantum cryptography frameworks
- Create blueprints for scalable quantum networks using photonic interconnects
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and error correction protocols
- Document quantum system specifications and conduct performance benchmarking
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Strong background in topological quantum computing and superconducting qubit systems
- Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum) and containerization
