Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies with 3-5 year impact potential
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market forecasts
- Conduct competitive intelligence and market positioning analysis for next-gen tech domains
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology adoption
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Oversee pilot programs for emerging technologies with commercialization potential
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends and commercializing innovations
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, Web3, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and $1M+ innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or innovation management
