Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 commercial applications
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for multi-qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm implementation
- Collaborate with hardware engineers on quantum-coherent system integration
- Create quantum security frameworks for next-gen data protection
- Research quantum machine learning frameworks for industrial deployment
- Document quantum system specifications and performance benchmarks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design and simulation
- Expertise in quantum error correction algorithms (surface/colour codes)
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or ion trap technologies
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into scalable implementations
