Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology strategy roadmap aligned with 2026 market forecasts and emerging trends
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and sustainable infrastructure
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for emerging technologies
- Develop investment frameworks for next-gen tech ventures with $50M+ budget oversight
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Build and manage an external innovation ecosystem with academic institutions and startups
- Drive ethical technology frameworks for 2026+ deployments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or corporate innovation leadership
- Proven track record commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep understanding of global tech policy, regulatory landscapes, and ethical frameworks
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities for long-term forecasting
- Experience managing $10M+ R&D budgets with measurable ROI outcomes
