Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Partner with industry leaders to implement quantum solutions in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Conduct cutting-edge research on quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Create quantum simulation frameworks for pre-quantum hardware validation
- Drive intellectual property development through patent filings and technical publications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Certification in quantum computing architecture (e.g., IBM Qiskit Certification)
- Experience leading quantum computing projects with measurable business impact
