Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Lead development of hybrid quantum-classical algorithms targeting 2026 industry needs
- Optimize quantum circuits for NISQ devices while preparing for fault-tolerant era
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and control systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for scalable quantum networks
- Translate theoretical quantum computing models into deployable enterprise solutions
- Lead quantum security initiatives for next-gen cryptography systems
- Mentor quantum software engineers and researchers in cutting-edge methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum system architecture
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Published research in quantum computing or top-tier conference proceedings
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (AWS Braket, IBM Quantum, Azure Quantum)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Proven ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
