Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems with 10^9+ variables
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Create hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Optimize quantum circuits for NISQ-era hardware constraints
- Lead open-source contributions to Qiskit and Cirq ecosystems
- Collaborate with cryptography teams on post-quantum security standards
- Mentor junior engineers through our Quantum Academy program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computational Mathematics
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Published research in quantum algorithm design or error correction
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum simulation libraries
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence principles
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in linear algebra and group theory
