Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Author high-impact research papers for Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit implementations
- Develop proprietary quantum encryption protocols for next-gen security systems
- Mentor PhD researchers and publish findings at major global conferences
- Secure $2M+ in annual research funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Machine Learning (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development using Qiskit or Cirq
- Published record in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum error correction techniques
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated success in securing government research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ-era limitations
