Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum machine learning algorithms for NLP and computer vision applications
- Develop error mitigation protocols for 1000+ qubit quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional research teams in prototyping quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications and secure federal/state research grants
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum computing methodologies
- Translate theoretical models into deployable quantum software solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum/AI conferences (Nature, QIP, NeurIPS)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong Python/C++ proficiency with high-performance computing experience
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proven ability to secure $500K+ research grants
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
