Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-AI hybrid algorithms for complex problem-solving
- Lead cross-functional research teams in quantum machine learning and neural network optimization
- Develop proprietary quantum computing protocols for AI acceleration
- Secure research funding through NSF and DARPA grant proposals
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-AI system integration
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Mentor PhD researchers and drive technical innovation roadmap
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum/AI journals
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, Q# or Qiskit frameworks, and ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Proven track record of securing $500K+ in research funding
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ researchers
- Strong background in computational complexity theory
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for government collaborations
