Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms leveraging AI/ML frameworks for real-world applications
- Collaborate with physicists to optimize quantum circuit performance on hardware platforms
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical models solving NP-hard problems
- Lead research publications in top-tier journals and conferences
- Prototype quantum neural networks for next-gen AI systems
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Proficiency in Python with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong mathematical foundations in linear algebra and probability theory
- Proven track record of translating theoretical concepts to practical implementations
