Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms leveraging Qiskit and TensorFlow Quantum
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols for industrial-scale deployments
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping quantum-AI hybrid computing architectures
- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
- Collaborate with NASA and MIT on quantum-resistant security frameworks
- Optimize quantum circuit performance using IBM Quantum Experience and Rigetti Forest
- Secure patents for breakthrough quantum-AI methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Computer Science, or equivalent research experience
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real quantum hardware (IBM/Rigetti)
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and tensor network simulations
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing venues (QIP, QCE)
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with quantum libraries (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Demonstrated experience with quantum annealing and D-Wave systems
- Security clearance eligibility for DoE-funded projects
