Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vitals, EKGs, and wound dressing
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare and administer medications under provider supervision
- Perform phlebotomy and point-of-care testing
- Coordinate patient flow and triage incoming cases
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA protocols
Qualifications
- Current Arizona Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year urgent care or emergency medicine experience
- BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Proficiency in Epic EHR or comparable systems
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility for same-day/weekend shifts
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
