Responsibilities
- Oversee 15-20 night shift staff, ensuring efficient workflow and safety compliance
- Manage inventory control systems and optimize warehouse operations
- Train and mentor new team members on equipment and procedures
- Resolve operational issues and maintain accurate documentation
- Coordinate with day shift management for seamless transitions
- Implement OSHA standards and maintain clean, organized workspace
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for productivity
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse/supervisory experience
- Forklift certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Basic knowledge of WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
