Responsibilities
- Oversee nightly warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor 10-15 night shift team members, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Coordinate inventory management systems and resolve discrepancies in real-time
- Optimize workflow efficiency to meet urgent client delivery deadlines
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and post-shift performance evaluations
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for operational excellence
- Act as primary point of contact for overnight emergencies and client communications
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years warehouse/supervisory experience in 24/7 operations
- OSHA certification and thorough knowledge of safety regulations
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong leadership skills with proven team management record
- Ability to work independently and make urgent decisions during off-hours
- Forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment
- Excellent problem-solving abilities for overnight operational challenges
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
