Responsibilities
- Oversee 15+ person night shift team, ensuring safety protocols and operational efficiency
- Coordinate inbound/outbound freight using WMS systems (SAP/JDA experience preferred)
- Conduct daily inventory audits and cycle counts with 99.8% accuracy
- Manage equipment operations including forklifts, pallet jacks, and AS/RS systems
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for productivity metrics
- Handle escalated client communications and exception resolution
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain hazard-free work environment
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience with night shift exposure
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training
- Advanced proficiency in WMS and inventory management software
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk 8+ hours
- DC metropolitan area residency required for emergency response
- Spanish bilingual preferred for diverse team coordination
