Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via CCTV and conduct regular patrols to prevent security breaches
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations with professional demeanor
- Verify credentials and maintain access control for authorized personnel
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement during critical incidents
- Safeguard sensitive areas and restricted zones per protocol
- Conduct perimeter checks and maintain security equipment functionality
Qualifications
- Valid DC Security License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours during night shifts
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
- Proficient in surveillance systems and access control software
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Must pass background check and drug screening
