Responsibilities
- Oversee all night shift production activities ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency targets are exceeded
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of 20+ production associates
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and troubleshoot production equipment issues
- Manage inventory control and material flow to prevent production bottlenecks
- Prepare shift reports and analyze production data for optimization opportunities
- Enforce OSHA compliance and maintain a zero-incident safety culture
Qualifications
- 5+ years manufacturing experience with 2+ years in supervisory role
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Advanced problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making
- Experience with ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
