Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under RN supervision including vital signs, ECG monitoring, and specimen collection
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort during overnight hours
- Monitor telemetry equipment and report abnormalities promptly
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless patient transitions
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Current Colorado CNA or EMT certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (must maintain current)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Availability to work 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am)
- Pass background check and drug screening
